I was approached last year by a new start-up business, offering forest school activities to schools, nurseries and even for birthday parties in Surrey. In recent years, the popularity of forest schools has increased exponentially, as parents realise the potential benefits, with today’s children spending about half the time playing outside that their parents did. Marketing in a competitive market
But with the rise in their popularity it also means there is increased competition in the market, with new forest schools starting up all the time. So I needed to create a brand which had to be professional enough to reassure the parents whilst reflecting the joining of children in play and education in a natural environment. A website was created with the same ethos in mind, along with social media channels and digital and print communications to help Surrey Hills Forest School stand apart from the many other forest school offering in the Surrey area.
With more bookings than they can handle, the project so far has been a great success.
